How to back up your mailing list data in easy steps

Let’s say you need to format your hard disk or move all of your data to a different computer.
How to save all the SendBlaster data including the mailers sent and mailing lists?

Here we explain in simple terms how to make it.

1) If you are running Windows 98, Me, 2000, XP, 2003 or Vista with UAC (User Account Control) off  SendBlaster keeps data into two subfolders named data & history.

You can use a backup tool (check this cool list) or simply create two compressed archives.

(program folder)/data
(program folder)/history

where (program folder) means the directory where you installed the program. A typical path is:

C:/Program Files/SendBlaster/data
C:/Program Files/SendBlaster/history

Therefore, if you want to backup your data, you simply have to backup these two subfolders.

7 Free Easy-to-use Scripts for Efficient Web Sites

Today we’d like to share with you some free scripts that can turn out to be useful for your website/blog.

Let’s take a closer look at these scripts (created by our development team).

1. WordPress double optin widget bulk email plugin for newsletter subscription

This simple WordPress mailing list management widget (plugin) sends emails with “Subscribe” and “Unsubscribe” subject for newsletter opt-in and double opt-in email list management.
The email list widget works with common bulk emailers and with SendBlaster’s newsletter software subscription management with custom field integration, for email merge purposes.

2. Mailing Spam Check

The Mailing Spam Check software rates your emails and analyzes the email content spam score: in other words you know in few seconds what is wrong in your email!  MailingCheck program executable incorporates all the common server side SpamAssassin anti spam test rules that you need to respect in order to go straight to your customer’s inbox.

Who wants to be a Beta Tester?

Busy time here @SendBlaster. Our development team is working hard to release SendBlaster 2.0 later this year.
What’s new in SendBlaster 2.0?

We made several changes to the internal engine and packed many new amazing features such as schedule mode, spam check, google analytics tools, dozen of new templates and much more.
If you want to get a sneak preview and discover all the things you could do with SendBlaster 2.0 start testing with us! The latest beta version is already internally tested therefore we expect the software to be as stable as the production releases, maybe except for some minor issues we did not have the opportunity to test ourselves.
Everyone is welcome and all the opinions will be considered by our technical staff.
Check out our private Forum (registration is required) for details on how to get the beta release and start testing!
